Thanks for this wonderful Beemer! highfive

I have a question: I converted the car to GTL to use it in the 90s BPR GT4 class. Is it possible to have analog gauges instead of the digital ones that don´t show up in GTL at all.

All the material seems to be there (speedo_cockpit.tga, tach_cockpit.tga, needle_01.tga etc.) in BMW_850_cpit.gtl. I tried to set in the .car file

DigitalDisplays=0 and remove the MOTEC line, but it doesn´t show. Can someone tell me if this is possible at all?

thanks

Now that I have accidentially Smile  removed the front bumper of the BMW 850, I see that there is actually a hole where the dials should be. I´ve seen this on some GTR2-GTL conversions, on some not. Is there a way to fix this "hole" where you can see through, and then to place the gauges? thanks

I think there used to be a tutor about this problem but I can't find it... I even thought I had a copy of it!! If it turns up I'll let you know. yes, yes

I fixed it! I found some info from MOF on the em board:

MOF wrote:
What needs to be done, generally, is to move any instructions in the 'Actor=VEHICLE' stanza (such as speedo and tacho) from the 'MOTEC' area to the 'COCKPIT' area.

I just copy the pertinent data from one area to another, leaving the original info alone. Don't know if deleting the info copied from motec to cockpit would work; never tried.
Doing that in the CAS file fixed the problem! Thanks MOF! yahoo thanks
