Really? Shocked  That's one of the most well known 935's out there, they even had one at Goodwood FoS this year!

scratch Maybe well known as in long tail versions of racing cars but not as well known as the ordinary shaped one with the Whale tail that was a road going car.

I have a book on the history of Porsche and very little mention of the long tailed version and looking on the tinterweb not a great deal on their either that I saw. Maybe you are thinking of the name Flatnosed porsche?

Nope definetly the right one!

Here is a picture of it at Goodwood, It even ran about 10 runs on the hillclimb (source: Porsche club of America)

Well you are right there but there is also a 935 with a Whale Tail there too!!!

Wish I could go there as well. I spoke to a German guy a few weeks ago in a town a bit over the Scottish Border and he was driving a lovely old BMW 502 in showroom condition inside and out and he had a sticker for goodwood on his windscreen. I asked him if he had been there and he said yes in 2007 or 2008 and he had showed his car there!!

Wow, that's quite a feat showing your car off at Goodwood!  yes, yes  Sadly you don't see so much of that here in Austria... only the occasional 300 SEL and Morgan Roadster, though I once saw a NSU Spider rotary car!
