there is a typo in the cas files (easy to fix)

open cas file's in notepad.. scroll to the bottom and you will see this line

<LOW> MeshFile=ford_f100_hood_aa.GMT CollTarget=False HATTarget=False ShadowReceiver=True LODIn=(0.0) LODOut=(30.0)

change it to

<LOW> MeshFile=ford_f100_hood_a.GMT CollTarget=False HATTarget=False ShadowReceiver=True LODIn=(0.0) LODOut=(30.0)

then save files

dOOble OOps ! I've understood... That because, on my personal trucks (but not on those that I've published), I've deleted in the .CAS file the lines about Front slitter (and Rear bumper too) ! cherry

Nice skins r0m0r. I'm also skinning this truck and am having the same 'pink' problem. I haven't deleted anything as far as I know.

I seem to remember that I've modified the Ford_f100.cas, in this way :

Instance=DEBRIS6 // REAR BUMPER
{
}
Instance=DEBRIS7 // front slitter
{
}

Ford_f100b.cas

The two not showing probably have this line in the .car file:
Graphics=Ford_f1001b.cas

Change the line to read:
Graphics=Ford_f1002.cas

I'm sure you've all figured it out, but just in case... it looks like the 'pink flash' is not an error at all, just something to do with the showroom lighting effects. It doesn't seem to appear when the truck is on track.

The problem is caused by the file FORDF100_LOD0.DDS found in the ford_f100_cockpit.gmt

Thanks GeeDee. Do we need to remove that file?. Since it only seems to affect the showroom, I'm not sure it makes a whole lot of difference...

I think removing it might cause loading problems on the spinner at least. If you look at the actual .GMT file you will see next to ford_f100_cockpit.gmt ther ia a magenta coloured box. I have tried recolouring the bx and this does show up on the truck but whatever colour I try it's then the new colour is the one that will show. So colour it white and that part is white on all the trucks. I also noticed the front indicator/Trafficiator lights are also purple and this is because of the same thing but on a different .GMT file.

Maybe if it can be transparent it would work but I can't see how to do that.
